Lamps for a new era

Herstal’s lamps have been spreading their light in lots of homes across northern Europe since 1988 inspiring people to light up their surroundings with playful and timeless Danish design. The story began in 1987 when Martin Herstal and his wife Lotte moved to Odense, Denmark and took over a small lamp shop in the Vesterbro area. Both in their 20s, they spent their days selling lamps and helping customers find lamps that not only provided good light, but were also nice to look at. Their dream was to design their own lamps and they succeeded in making their dream come true! Today, part of Belid Lighting Group, Herstal’s universe continues to grow with the same values at heart and a modern touch.
